After 8 years of London adventures with her Norfolk Terrier Archie, Gaynor decided in 2018 to start sharing all the best dog friendly places they found with their Instagram followers.

This proved to be so popular that Archie officially became The Four Legged Foodie.

Gaynor and Archie regularly reviewed great restaurants and pubs together so other London dog owners could be safe in the knowledge that the humans would be eating delicious food, and their dogs would be welcome too.

Just one year later Gaynor hosted her first dog event in Chelsea. The idea was to bring London dogs and independent businesses together. It was a great success and with venues and businesses lined up for a calendar full of other events, things were getting exciting.

Unfortunately, our friend COVID put a pause on events for a while.

In that time not only did Nacho the Norfolk Terrier puppy join the family, but the website and blog were born. Now The Four Legged Foodies were ready to reach an even wider audience (apparently some people don’t have Instagram! Who knew?).

Four years later with around 300 places visited and over 30 successful events delivered, it was time for the next evolution.

The Four Legged Foodies became WOOFABOUT™.

With a new name, new ambitions and new business structure, Nadine and Bertie the Beagle have been welcomed to the team as business partners in the North of England.

Nadine is based in Sheffield and brings with her a host of event organisation, business management and design experience.

As a fellow dog lover, with a “let’s get it done” attitude, she brings new energy to the business and supports Gaynor with all aspects of WOOFABOUT™.

So, with the help of our wonderful Woofers, we are now ready to bring amazing adventures to dogs all over the UK.
