On Sunday March 24th we held our Dogs In The City Brunch at The South Place Hotel. The event was part of London Dog Week and twenty doggies (some old friends and some new) brought their humans along to join us in the hotel’s beautiful Secret Garden room.
The South Place Hotel is very dog friendly, they even allow us to stay overnight in their bedrooms. So they were more than happy to allow us exclusive access to this stunning room for the afternoon.
“To celebrate the change of the seasons, experience the Secret Garden as it transforms into a floral haven inspired by Martin Miller’s gin botanicals. Within a veritable oasis of waterfalls and palm trees, with a retractable roof in case of changeable weather and heaters to maintain tropical climates all year round, witness Spring bloom before your own eyes in the garden this season”
While the humans tucked into their brunch, we doggies were treated to our very own menu of meatloaf (made from Different Dog Braised Beef), Lily’s Kitchen Breakfast Crunch, Banana and Peanut Butter Pupcakes and Black Pudding Granola.

After that we all fell into food comas for a while. Luckily there were plenty of laps for us to snooze on and the humans took advantage of a few minutes peace to chat to each other. They can spend hours talking about how great we doggies are!
Then it was all go again with more socialising and plenty of photos (groan) before everyone headed home with their goodie bags.
I think it’s safe to say my friends had a great time, I know I did! Look forward to seeing you all again soon for our next event.
