6 (more) dog friendly London places to brunch with your dog this weekend
As we approach the end of National Brunch month, we've been getting around as many as we can for our favourite meal of the day. There is no need to panic though as brunch will still be available at these great places after April.
Imagine our delight when we heard our favourite Danish bakery Ole & Steen were opening in our home town.
Our humans have been enjoying their baked goods, especially their signature cinnamon social, for years and now they are right on our doorstep.
Maybe not so good for their waistlines but really good if you fancy a sweet treat.
They do also sell savoury dishes and sandwiches.
We decided to enjoy ours al fresco because it was a sunny day but pooches are welcome indoors at all locations.
Another great nationwide restaurant chain we are lucky to have on our doorstep is Bill's. We were delighted to hear that they recently launched a doggo menu in collaboration with Denzel's and Scoops.
Pooches get to enjoy a selection of treats(including Denzel's brunch treats), ice cream and dog wine, while the humans enjoy dishes such as Brunch Shwarma and the Ultimate Brunch Sandwich. They also do a great selection of brunch cocktails. Then you can join the dog for an afternoon snooze!
Pooches are welcome and the doggo menu is available in all Bill's restaurants across the country.
We love to discover a place that has an unusual brunch menu (there is such a thing as too much avo on toast you know) and Friends of Ours is just such a place.
This café in Shoreditch serves an Australian inspired menu which consists of dishes such as Bombay Lamb Benedict, Smashed Pea and Beetroot Toast and Roasted Cauliflower with Tofu Cream (avo is available as a side dish if you really can't go without it.
Every good brunch should be accompanied by a great coffee so where better than an actual Coffee House?
Tomtom Coffee House in Belgravia serve brunch, pastries and sandwiches all day, every day and along with their Allpress coffee, humans can enjoy dishes like Shakshuka, Breakfast Roll and Super Green Omelette.
Pooches are welcome inside but it is a small area so our bigger friends may want to enjoy the outside space.
The café also has seasonal floral displays which make excellent photo opportunities.
We might not be able to fly to California for brunch but we can still experience it at Yeotown.
The mood is chill at this California inspired restaurant in the Inhabit Hotels Queens Gardens and Sussex Gardens, Bayswater and the food is a work of art.
Humans can enjoy dishes like overnight spiced apple and beetroot oats or chia and oat waffles to name but 2.
And if you eat too much, it's just a short hop over the road to Hyde Park for walkies.
