The Big Woof is Back!

Updated: Oct 27

London's biggest dog event is back this September.

Join us on September 14th and 15th for THE dog event of the year.

Following it's success last year, The Big Woof returns with a packed schedule of activities for you and your dog to enjoy. We have some old favourites returning from last year, together with some fantastic new additions to the schedule.

This year's theme is Wellness and we will have a host of activities to promote a happy and healthy relationship between you and your dog.

Here's what you can experience at The Big Woof 2024!

**Just added - Napo Scent Maze**

Do some serious sniffing.....

Napo Pet Insurance present the scent maze at The Big Woof where pooches can run free and be guided by their noses.

Scent work is an excellent way for your dog to have fun and is also great for their mental and physical well-being.

The maze will be located on Lewis Cubitt Park and you can book a 10 minute sniff-a-thon!

Bond with your dog over a massage...............

The Big Woof Wellness Studio is presented by The Wellness Foundry who are bringing their wealth of experience into the dog world.

In the studio you can enjoy Yoga and Sound Bathing with your dog (don't worry pooches, there is no water or shampoo involved) or experience the benefits of canine massage with Galen Myotherapy.

Outside the Wellness Studio you will find the Tarot Tent you can enjoy a 15 minute reading with practitioners Nikki and Yvette. Dog tarot readings can be used to answer any specific questions about your dog or to get a snapshot of how they are currently feeling.

All sessions are FREE to attend or you can make a donation of your choice to our charity partner Wild at Heart Foundation.

Learn some tricks, win some prizes..............

The main show arena at this year's Big Woof will be hosted by Luke's Dog School who have been working with dogs since 2015 and specialise in helping dogs and owners cope in busy, bustling areas.

The show arena will host competitions, breed showcases and training demonstrations across the weekend.

You can enter your dog into any of the competitions for FREE or you can make a donation of your choice to our charity partner Wild at Heart Foundation.

Get the lowdown on all things DOG........

Samsung KX will once again be the location for informative talks from pet professionals.

Bring your pooch along to the air-conditioned Samsung KX theatre to learn about:
Scent Work with Rachel Rodgers
Nutrition from Rupal of Talula Eats
Canine Gut Health with Bushra of Biome9

You can book your place at any of the talks for FREE or you can make a donation of your choice to our charity partner Wild at Heart Foundation.

Have a Mutt-chelin Dining Experience....

New for 2024 is the doggie dining experience presented by Talula Eats.

Do your bit for charity..........

Our charity partner Wild at Heart Foundation will be located in the shopping village in Coal Drops Yard. Come along and learn all about the wonderful work they do to support dogs in need across the globe. You can support them at The Big Woof by making a donation on your ticket and they will also be selling their gorgeous merchandise.

This year we are delighted to be joined by Wild at Heart Foundation founder and renowned florist, Nikki Tibbles who will be offering 1 to 1 bouquet tutorials so you can create your own floral masterpieces to take home.

Wild at Heart bouquets and flowers will also be available to purchase.

Capture your pooch's best side................
There will be literally hundreds of great photo opportunities during The Big Woof but if you want the perfect portrait of your pooch, visit one of our photography pop-up studios.

This year we have 3 pop-up photography studios at The Big Woof. You can book sessions with award winning Amie Barron, black & white photographer Pawtiqe and Woof Photography who partner with Woof Portraits to create amazing digital art from your photos.

You can book a 20 minute shoot for FREE or you can make a donation of your choice to our charity partner Wild at Heart Foundation.

Turn your dog into art............

We have 3 artists who will turn photos of your dog into memorable pieces to keep forever.

Alison Russell creates FREE silhouette cut-outs of your pooch in profile. The process takes just 10 minutes and there is no need to book.

Sophie Stock and Stephanie Howard create portrait sketches of your dog in their own unique styles. Sketches must be booked in advance.

All artists will be situated in the Shopping Village.

Something for the kids..........

Get your face painted to look like your dog.

Face Painter Diana will be in the Shopping Village with her brushes at the ready to get you looking like your dog. No booking required, just turn up on the day.

Face painting is for kids of all ages including ones who are actually adults.

Shop until you drop............

Our Shopping Village at The Big Woof 2024 is our biggest yet with over 30 independent UK pet businesses showcasing their fabulous products.
