We loved our visit to dog friendly wine bar and restaurant Humble Grape
Grapes are an absolute no, no for dogs so luckily you will only find the liquid version at Humble Grape in the hundreds of bottles of wine for your humans to choose from.
We visited the Battersea Rise location (which we booked on Wagit) and were greeted with treats from the friendly staff. Pooches are welcome throughout the bar and restaurant but they do get very busy in the evenings so choose your times depending on your dog's sensibilities!
At this restaurant there are a few stairs to negotiate to get to your table but they were very accommodating about somewhere to put our friend Lola's stroller.
Make sure your humans are sensible around all that wine by pairing it with some delicious food.
They can choose from nibbles like Nocellara olives and smoked almonds, cheese and charcuterie boards, main course like cote de boeuf and seared stonebass. Or, like our humans, choose a selection of small plates.
They tried padron peppers, burrata with Rhubarb, radish, mint and lemon pesto, chilli fried chicken, crispy cauliflower, monkfish medallions and trout ceviche. Every bite was a mouthful of joy!
The knowledgeable staff will help you choose the right wine to go with your food.
When you've found your perfect wines, you can also buy bottles to take home. If you're still deciding, they also host regular tasting events.
All Humble Grape locations (Battersea, Islington, Canary Wharf, Fleet Street, Crouch End and Liverpool Street) welcome four legged foodies and you can book your table on Wagit.
